Bring paper & pen, an open heart and a sense of adventure. This is an intro to Improv. We shall play some classic Improv games to get our brains warmed up. Have a quick coffee break. Then we will try versions of games to do at your desk to help with creating/fleshing out WHATEVER creative project you have in mind.
The reference for this intro is aimed at writers but I find value in Improv for writing AND image making. Any creative endeavour really, as it's a way of thinking/being. I find that when I have an idea, instead of just running with it if I Improvise around it. I can come up with other ideas or flesh out the idea in ways that staring at a screen just doesn't accomplish. I am using it for cartooning gags and visuals for farrbott.
